ABOUT ME (she/her)Tattoo artist and illustratorI’m a professional tattoo artist and colored pencil illustrator based out of Chicago. I have 10 years of experience in tattooing, and over a decade in colored pencil illustration. I specialize in the macabre, dark and funereal, and work extensively with tattooing self harm scar cover-ups.
My artwork focuses on the elaborate beauty in what is considered macabre and unnerving. I've found much of my inspiration in long hours spent in the halls of natural history museums, finding awe and fascination in dusty bones and the echoes of creatures that time erased. I have a deep love in the horror genre, both in movies and games, and have adopted some of the surreal elements in my own work. Combined with a bottomless adoration for the natural world and anatomy, I strive to infuse both the breathing and breathless subjects of my artwork with minute detail and an otherworldly presence that captures the imagination. |
